Role Description
The Accounting Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. They will also support the creation of financial statements, ensure the proper use of accounting software, and assist in monitoring overall financial health. This is a full-time role based in Biggleswade.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Bookkeeping and preparing accurate Journal Entries
- Proficiency in using Accounting Software and understanding of Financial Statements
- Strong foundational knowledge of Finance principles and practices
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role preferred
- Accounting qualifications or equivalent educational background
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
