Principles

What we will and won't do.

SponsorJobs exists because the current UK sponsor-job ecosystem is broken in a specific, dishonest way. These are the decisions we've made about how to fix it.

01 · We will

Only list roles at licensed sponsors.

Every job on the site is matched to an employer on the Home Office register. No aggregator dumps, no "sponsorship available on request" nonsense.

02 · We will

Cross-check against live vacancies every hour.

A sponsor licence alone isn't enough. Companies stop hiring and let old roles linger, so we re-check every listing against the employer's live careers feeds each hour and drop ghost roles fast.

03 · We will

Show the visa route on every job.

Skilled Worker, Health & Care, Scale-up, Global Business Mobility and the rest: each role shows which route the employer can sponsor you under, so you don't waste a week finding out.

04 · We won't

We'll never ask for your CV.

No "upload your CV for better matches", no lead-generation shell game. Browse first; a free email sign-in only kicks in if you want to save jobs or read past a handful. You always apply directly to the employer, and your data isn't the product.

05 · We won't

We will never charge jobseekers.

No paid tiers, no "premium" applications, no visa-support upsell. If there's ever a business model, it'll sit on the employer side, never the applicant.

06 · We won't

We won't pretend we're government.

SponsorJobs is an independent project. We link to the Home Office register but we're not affiliated, endorsed, or part of UKVI. We're transparent about our sources and when data was last synced.

Where the data comes from

Three public sources, reconciled.

No scraping in the dark, no mystery "our database". Every field on the site traces back to a named public source, and we show you which.

FAQ

Common questions.

Short, honest answers, no legal boilerplate.

Who built this and why?
SponsorJobs is built and operated by one engineer in London who went through the UK sponsorship system, got tired of wading through fake "sponsorship available" job listings, and decided to build a filter. The codebase, the crons, and the support inbox are all one person, which is why we're strict about scope and don't add noise.
Is this affiliated with the UK government or the Home Office?
No. SponsorJobs is an independent project. We ingest the Home Office's publicly published register of licensed sponsors, but we are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or operated by UKVI, the Home Office, or any UK government body.
How often is the data updated?
The Home Office sponsor register is synced daily. The vacancy cross-check runs every hour, so if a licensed sponsor stops hiring, their roles fall off the site within the hour.
Do I need a visa before I apply to a job here?
No. You apply to the employer directly, and if you're offered the role and need a visa, the employer issues a Certificate of Sponsorship and you apply from there. SponsorJobs' job is to make sure that path is open at that employer, not to handle the visa itself.
Will it ever cost money?
Not for jobseekers. If SponsorJobs ever has a business model, it will be on the employer side (things like verified employer profiles or featured placements), and will never gate search, listings, or applications behind a paywall for jobseekers.
How do I report a wrong or stale listing?
Email hello@sponsorjobs.co with the job URL and what's wrong. Reports are usually actioned within 24 hours. A "Report a data issue" link is also on every company profile.

Talk to a real human.

One inbox. The same person who built the site reads every message. Questions, corrections, press, partnerships: all fine.
