Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Administrator on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. We’re looking for someone passionate about delivering an effective service across multiple accounting departments using your skills of collaboration to make Games Workshop even better.

This is a varied role that will see you working across Cashbook, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control so you’ll be process driven, highly adaptable and skilled at prioritising. Within Cashbook you’ll reconcile bank and cash transactions across multiple currencies and legal entities within agreed deadlines completing bank balance reporting.

You’ll have a keen eye for detail taking a methodical approach as you process large volumes of invoices accurately across multiple companies worldwide, ensuring we pay our Suppliers on time. Focused on supporting Games Workshop to achieve our goals, you’ll accurately post Direct Debits onto the correct Ledger to ensure financial accuracy. You’ll have a natural instinct of knowing what needs to be achieved across the departments as you collaborate with the wider Accounts Payable Team to ensure effective management and completion of weekly tasks.

We’re always keen to ensure continuous improvement of our processes, so you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in our Systems Implementation Programme within Credit Control, supporting data analysis and cleansing activities. You’ll also support local user acceptance testing activities in different locations, escalating issues to ensure the Finance department’s requirements are met.

You’ll be comfortable communicating effectively with staff at all levels of the business, being an excellent problem solver with a can-do attitude, and having both the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We’re looking for someone who has a broad understanding of transactional finance who is driven to improve processes. You’ll use your excellent people skills to ensure you collaborate across departments, so information flows freely, demonstrating a strong commitment to consistency, ensuring all tasks are completed with the highest level of accuracy and reliability.
