About Us
This is a role where your work genuinely makes a difference.
You’ll be joining Social Services, supporting the teams who help people in our communities access the care and support they need every day. From behind the scenes, your work will help ensure that services run smoothly, that providers are paid correctly and on time, that Direct Payments are processed accurately and that systems are kept up to date so services run smoothly.
Your contribution will support some of our most important services – helping vulnerable adults receive safe, well-managed care, supporting Personal Assistants and providers, and ensuring the Council meets its responsibilities around finance, governance and data protection.
Everything you do contributes to something bigger – helping us deliver on our vision for Vale 2030: Strong Communities with a Bright Future, and living our values of being open, together, ambitious and proud.
Ambitious - Forward thinking, embracing new ways of working and investing in our future.
Open - Open to different ideas and being accountable for the decisions we take.
Together - Working together as a team that engages with our customers and partners, respects diversity and is committed to quality services.
Proud - Proud of the Vale of Glamorgan; proud to serve our communities and to be part of the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
