Role Purpose:


The Aftercare Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) & Remote Services of Smoke Controls Systems. The role focuses on promoting SE Controls' aftercare services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering long-term relationships with Principal Accountable Persons within the Registered Providers of Social Housing, Local Authorities, Facilities Management and Build to Rent sectors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Business Development - Identify and target Principal Accountable Persons to promote our products and services. Generate new business opportunities to maximise our conversation rate of PPM & Remote Services via completed contracts.
  • Client Relationship Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring elevated levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research - Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the target sectors.
  • Sales Strategy - Develop and implement effective sales strategies, maximising PPM value and achieving business growth and revenue targets.
  • Proposal Development - Prepare and present effective proposals and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of SE Controls' aftercare services.
  • Collaboration - Collaborate closely with internal teams and including Directors, Aftercare Delivery, Marketing, and Technical Support to ensure strategic growth and seamless delivery of aftercare services.
  • Reporting - Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights.


Essential Criteria


Experience:

An accomplished track record in business development, sales, or account management. Experience collaborating with the Registered Providers of Social Housing, Build to Rent, Facilities Management and Local Authorities is essential. Knowledge of fire safety and ventilation systems preferred.

  • Demonstratable ability to build and maintain relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • An initiative-taking approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt in a challenging environment.
