BearingPoint is looking for an AI Workplace Consultant to lead delivery and adoption of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 Copilot projects. This is a client-facing consulting role focused on driving measurable user adoption, capability building, and behavioural change across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Role & Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Delivery

  • Manage M365 project delivery, project plans, and reporting, ensuring risks and dependencies are visible to project leadership.
  • Work with IT, HR, communications, and business stakeholders to align adoption activity with organisational goals.

Adoption & Change Management

  • Design and run adoption projects for Microsoft 365 and Copilot, covering stakeholder mapping, change impact assessment, communications, and champion networks.
  • Build role-based scenario libraries and use cases that connect Copilot and agent capability to everyday business processes.
  • Define and track adoption metrics using Microsoft 365 usage analytics, Viva Insights, and Power BI reporting.

Enablement & Training

  • Deliver workshops, training sessions, floor-walking, and drop-in clinics for end users, champions, and senior stakeholders.
  • Produce training collateral, quick-reference guides, prompt libraries, and self-service learning content.
  • Coach client teams so that adoption is sustained after the engagement ends.

Responsible AI & Governance Awareness

  • Translate Copilot and Microsoft Purview governance decisions, such as sensitivity labels, oversharing controls, and data handling rules, into clear guidance that users understand.
  • Support responsible AI usage policies, acceptable-use guidance, and licensing allocation decisions with the client's IT and risk teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with the latest Microsoft 365, Copilot, and AI developments, and feed new capability into client roadmaps.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and reusable adoption assets for future client engagements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years in Microsoft 365 adoption, change management, or digital workplace consulting.
  • Practical experience delivering Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption or readiness programmes.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services; SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Viva.
  • Experience designing and delivering training, workshops, and communications for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to define, measure, and report adoption metrics using Power BI and Microsoft 365 usage data.
  • Understanding of AI governance, data protection, and responsible AI practices, and the ability to explain them in business language.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Formal change management certification such as Prosci or APMG.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Viva Learning or Viva Engage.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services.
  • Microsoft certifications (MS-900, MS-700, MS-102) are a plus.
