Anaplan Senior Consultant

We are supporting a specialist consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Anaplan Senior Consultant to support the delivery of connected planning, FP&A and financial consolidation projects across the UK.

This is a client-facing consulting role suited to someone with hands-on Anaplan experience who can work closely with finance and business stakeholders, support solution design, and deliver high-quality planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and/or consolidation solutions.

You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and model design through to build, testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering Anaplan solutions across FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, connected planning and/or financial consolidation use cases
• Working with finance, FP&A, reporting and controllership stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business challenges
• Building, configuring and enhancing Anaplan models in line with best practice
• Supporting solution design, model architecture and wider project delivery
• Translating finance requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions
• Running workshops and supporting client conversations throughout the project lifecycle
• Helping clients improve planning, reporting, consolidation and decision-making processes
• Supporting testing, deployment, documentation and post-go-live optimisation
• Coaching or supporting junior team members where required

What we’re looking for

• Hands-on Anaplan experience
• Experience delivering or supporting Anaplan implementations
• Background across FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and/or financial consolidation
• Model-building capability and understanding of Anaplan best practice
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical planning or consolidation solutions
• Confident stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
• Experience working in a consulting or project delivery environment would be beneficial
• Anaplan certifications would be advantageous
• Based in the UK
