Android Engineer – Short JD
Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to develop and enhance mobile applications, working closely with Product, Design, QA and Engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, enhance and maintain Android applications.
- Develop clean, scalable and high-performance code.
- Troubleshoot bugs and optimize application performance.
- Work with APIs, backend services and legacy systems.
- Develop unit and integration tests.
- Contribute to technical design and open-ended problem solving.
- Work with globally distributed engineering teams.
Must Have:
- Strong Android development experience.
- Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow.
- Jetpack Compose and Android modern development practices.
- REST APIs, OkHttp and dependency injection such as Dagger.
- MVI/MVVM architecture experience.
- JUnit, Espresso and integration testing.
- Gradle, GitHub Actions/CircleCI and CI/CD.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization and problem-solving skills.
