We're seeking an experienced Android Developer to help build and enhance next-generation mobile applications for a leading client.
Role: Android Developer
Location: Bristol, UK (Hybrid mode, 3days on -site per week)
Hiring type: InsideIR35
Duration: 6months
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of Android development experience
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java
- Deep understanding of the Android SDK, UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, multithreading, and performance optimization
- Strong knowledge of the Android open-source ecosystem and commonly used libraries
- Expertise in Google Material Design, Android interface guidelines, and Git version control
- Solid understanding and practical application of SOLID Principles
- Experience with MVVM/MVI architecture, Android Architecture Components, and Jetpack libraries
- Hands-on expertise with Jetpack Compose
- Experience working within modularized codebases
- Strong focus on UI testing and delivering high-quality, scalable applications
