The RSK Group are looking for a Assistant Company Secretary for 12 months to join our busy inhouse legal team.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) role starting in September, based at our head office in Helsby, Cheshire. You must live within a commutable distance to the office.

The Legal Team is a dynamic and friendly group, consisting of professionals specialising in Legal, Compliance and Governance. Together, they work collaboratively to provide expert advice and guidance to the RSK Group across all these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries, as well as all company records
  • Ensuring complete records are received from our newly-acquired businesses and properly recorded on Diligent Entities
  • Completing statutory filings, including Confirmation Statements
  • Assisting with the organisation of Board Meetings and paperwork relating to the approval of company accounts and dividends.
  • Assisting the Deputy Company Secretary to develop the governance requirements within the organisation on an international basis
  • Supporting subsidiary compliance including working with global advisors on the maintenance of statutory registers and corporate filings.
  • Responding to KYC and tender requests
  • Supporting share scheme transactions

Person Specification:

  • CGI part or fully qualified with at least 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Experience using Diligent Entities is desirable
  • Good attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn
  • Well organised, with the ability to show initiative
