About RTN Mental Health
Following a year of incredible growth, RTN Mental Health Solutions is looking to further strengthen our clinical network.

The Role
As an Associate Clinical Psychologist, you will support the delivery of high-quality autism assessments as part of RTN’s diagnostic pathway.
You will be responsible for completing agreed elements of ASD assessments, reviewing and interpreting clinical information, and contributing your professional expertise to multidisciplinary team discussions and diagnostic decision-making.
Depending on your experience and training, this will include clinical interviews, developmental history taking, structured observations, ADOS-2 assessments, report writing and feedback sessions.
You will ensure that every individual receives a respectful, professional and supportive assessment experience.
Role Responsibilities
ASD Assessments:
Complete agreed components of autism assessments for children and/or adults as part of RTN’s diagnostic pathway.
Clinical Assessment and Reporting:
Gather, review and interpret relevant clinical information, complete structured assessments and provide clear, accurate clinical reports.
Multidisciplinary Working:
Contribute to MDT discussions and diagnostic decision-making, sharing your clinical findings, formulation and professional recommendations.
Feedback and Recommendations:
Support the delivery of clear, sensitive and neuroaffirming feedback to individuals and families following assessment.
Person-Centred Practice:
Ensure every assessment is delivered with empathy, professionalism and respect for the individual’s needs, presentation and lived experience.
Compliance and Quality:
Maintain accurate documentation and follow relevant clinical, safeguarding and information governance standards.
Professional Standards:
Work within your professional scope of practice and maintain appropriate registration, training and clinical competence.
About You
Our values — Respect, Transformation and Nurture — are not just words on a wall; they guide everything we do.
We believe in taking care of our clinicians just as well as we take care of our patients.
At RTN Mental Health, we’re on a mission to transform the way neurodevelopmental and primary care mental health services are delivered across the UK. As a dynamic and rapidly expanding organisation, we combine clinical excellence with operational innovation to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. From NHS partnerships to private services, we’re redefining what accessible and effective support can look like.
Our work focuses particularly on improving access to ADHD and autism services, ensuring individuals receive timely, compassionate and evidence-based support across their diagnostic and post-diagnostic journey.
