As an Associate Test Engineer, you'll support the planning, execution, automation and documentation of testing across Salesforce, MuleSoft integrations and enterprise data flows. You'll help identify defects early, maintain clear test evidence and build the skills needed to progress towards a Test Engineer role.

How you’ll make an impact:

✅ Support functional, API, integration, end-to-end and regression testing across defined technology changes

✅ Create clear test cases, prepare test data and maintain accurate evidence and traceability

✅ Record defects with reproducible steps and support retesting through to closure

✅ Run existing automated test suites and help create straightforward automated tests using approved standards

✅ Collaborate across engineering, product, data, operations and business testing teams

✅ Build your technical capability through structured learning, coaching and practical delivery experience

You'll work closely with Test Engineers, Test Leads, software engineers, business analysts, product owners, data engineers, operations teams and business testers, seeing how quality engineering contributes to reliable customer and business outcomes.

The tools helping us shape what’s next:

☁️ Salesforce - User journeys, configuration, data, security and integration behaviour.

🚀Automation- Copado Robotic Testing, reusable test patterns and controlled execution.

🔗 APIs and Integration - MuleSoft, requests, responses, payloads, authentication and error handling.

⚡ Data and Delivery Tooling - Basic SQL, data reconciliation, CI/CD and test evidence management.

Essential experience

• An interest in software testing, automation, APIs, data or technology delivery, demonstrated through academic study, a placement, internship, personal project or early professional experience.
• Developing knowledge of test planning, test design, execution, defect management and reporting.
• A structured and analytical approach, with clear communication and accurate record keeping.
• Willingness to learn, apply feedback and work collaboratively in a regulated environment.

Useful, but not essential

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, or a commitment to work towards it.
• Exposure to Salesforce, MuleSoft, APIs, basic SQL or data testing.
• Copado Robotic Testing learning, Salesforce Trailhead badges or similar practical automation learning.
• Awareness of financial services or another regulated technology environment.
