The Full-time permanent position will be based in our London office.

The SPV Middle Office Associate is a key operational staff member in the SPV Middle Office of Symbiotics, which administers the current four SPV’s used in the Symbiotics transaction origination.

Job Description:

The SPV Middle Office Associate will be working on a large range of aspects of the SPV administration including:

  • Drafting transaction event documentation (prepayments, defaults, waivers, amendments) both in relation to investees (loan) and investors (notes)
  • Monitoring of transactions (covenant monitoring and follow-up)
  • Administrative monitoring of transactions
  • Reporting to investors and reporting to stock exchange (ad hoc and regular)

Skills/qualifications/experience:

The SPV Middle Office Associate will in a small team of 4 team member, and be supervised by the Head of Transaction Legal.

We are looking for an accountable person with an entrepreneurial drive who is organized, professional, and able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. Candidate should be a dynamic person, autonomous, and able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. More specifically, we have the following requirements:

  • Law degree (UK or any international law) or several years of on-the-job experience in drafting legal documents
  • At least 1 year of experience in a paralegal environment, ideally within corporate administration, finance, trust, SPV administration or related field
  • Strong drafting skills in English
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Ideally interest and/or experience in emerging & developing markets
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point;
  • Valid work permit for the UK
  • Highly motivated, well-organised with a strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
