Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS EKS Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise infrastructure program focused on building, securing, and operating Kubernetes platforms on AWS.

This is a highly technical hands-on engineering role requiring deep expertise in AWS EKS, Kubernetes platform architecture, networking, security hardening, automation, and infrastructure engineering.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling enterprise-grade Kubernetes environments supporting mission-critical workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage AWS EKS clusters in production environments
• Develop scalable Kubernetes platform architectures
• Design and implement Kubernetes networking solutions including:
• VPC CNI
• Calico
• Cilium
• Ingress/Egress controls
• Service exposure
• Design and implement Kubernetes storage solutions:
• EBS
• EFS
• CSI Drivers
• Build and support multi-tenant Kubernetes environments
• Implement Kubernetes security controls including:
• IAM
• IRSA
• RBAC
• Network Policies
• Zero Trust Architecture
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Implement GitOps deployment practices using Argo CD
• Partner with Platform Engineering, DevOps and SRE teams
• Drive platform reliability, observability and performance improvements
• Contribute to platform governance, standards and best practices

Required Experience

• 10+ years of Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on AWS EKS platform build experience
• Strong Kubernetes administration and engineering expertise
• Experience building and managing production EKS clusters
• Strong AWS knowledge including:
• VPC
• IAM
• EC2
• ALB/NLB
• Security Groups
• Kubernetes networking expertise
• Kubernetes storage architecture experience
• Terraform Infrastructure as Code experience
• Argo CD / GitOps implementation experience
• Kubernetes security hardening expertise
• Multi-tenancy design and implementation experience
