An exciting opportunity has opened for skilled and passionate Radiographers to become a vital part of the Imaging Department at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at our Luton site.
This role offers a unique chance to rotate between Luton Hospital and the CDC site, giving you a varied and dynamic working environment where no two days are the same. Main duties of the job
Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital services to a growing population of around 700,000 people living across Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas across two busy hospital sites in Bedford and Luton. Both hospital sites offer key services such as A&E, Obstetrics-led Maternity and Paediatrics. You will be joining a friendly, high performing Trust committed to ensuring the health and wellbeing of staff. - Actively contribute to the delivery of high-quality imaging services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care are maintained at all times.
- Serve as a role model for radiographers, student radiographers, and other healthcare workers, helping them to develop their skills and become considerate professionals in the field.
- Supervise staff within the clinical environment, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of imaging services.

- BSc In Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC Registration
- Post Graduate Cerificate/Diploma
Essential criteria
- Extensive experience of working in an acute hospital
- Extensive experience in general radiographic practice
- Extensive experience in specialised modality practice
- Experience within the NHS
- Experience of cardiac imaging
Essential criteria
- Professional knowledge across the spectrum of cross-sectional/ specialised procedures
- Sound scientific and technical knowledge relevant to the post – including general and cardiac catheterisation
- Awareness of all legislation and safety requirements relevant to the post
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous personal professional development
- Knowledge of governance and audit procedures

- Skilled in performing cross-sectional/cardiac imaging
