Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Imaging Department at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHSFT (Bedford site) for suitably qualified Band 6 Radiographers to apply for a Band 7 CT Radiographer position.
This is a modality‑specific role within CT, with the flexibility to rotate according to service needs. The post holder will support service delivery, lead on training and development within the wider team, contribute to audit and service improvement, and deputise for the Modality Manager when required.
Main duties of the job
Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital services to a growing population of around 700,000 people living across Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas across two busy hospital sites in Bedford and Luton. Both hospital sites offer key services such as A&E, Obstetrics-led Maternity and Paediatrics. - BSc In Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC Registration
- Certificate in cannulation
- Post Graduate Cerificate/Diploma
- Post graduate study in Imaging specialty
- ILS Trained

- Extensive experience within specified modality
- Extensive experience in general radiographic practice
- Extensive experience in a second specialised modality

- Professional knowledge across the spectrum of cross-sectional/ specialised procedures
- Sound scientific and technical knowledge relevant to the post
