Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced BSS/OSS Solution Architect with strong Telecom domain expertise to lead solution design, requirements analysis, and architecture activities across Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operational Support Systems (OSS) initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical delivery teams, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize functional and technical requirements.
  • Lead workshops, investigations, and decision-making sessions to ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Analyze existing systems, identify gaps, and recommend scalable BSS/OSS solutions.
  • Evaluate technology options, conduct feasibility studies, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and cost/risk assessments.
  • Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards and telecom industry best practices.
  • Produce architecture documentation, solution designs, and technical recommendations.
  • Communicate architecture decisions and solution approaches to stakeholders, governance boards, and project teams.
  • Identify project risks and issues, driving mitigation and resolution strategies.
  • Ensure solutions deliver business value while adhering to budget, timelines, and strategic objectives (OTOBIS – On Time, On Budget, In Strategy).
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and support teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Support project planning, resource estimation, and business case preparation.
  • Oversee implementation activities to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and maintainable.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in the Telecom industry with strong exposure to BSS/OSS systems.
  • Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Business Analysis, or Technical Architecture roles.
  • Strong understanding of Telecom processes including Customer Management, Order Management, Billing, CRM, Service Provisioning, Inventory Management, and Assurance.
  • Experience conducting requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution evaluation, and architecture design.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance processes.
  • Ability to assess technology options, vendors, and integration approaches.
  • Knowledge of system integration, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures is advantageous.
