Role Description

This full-time Business Analyst role is based in Twickenham on a hybrid basis, combining on-site work with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across children’s services to understand business challenges, gather and document requirements, and translate them into clear specifications for digital, process, and service improvements. Day-to-day responsibilities include mapping and reviewing business processes, analyzing data and performance information, identifying efficiencies, and supporting the design of user-centered solutions. The role will involve facilitating workshops, preparing reports and presentations, and collaborating with project teams to ensure changes are implemented effectively and deliver measurable benefits. The Business Analyst will also contribute to continuous improvement activities, helping to embed best practice in business analysis across the organization.


About You

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, stakeholder analysis, and solution evaluation.
  • Experience working with business processes, including process mapping, process improvement, and service redesign.
  • Ability to elicit, document, and manage business requirements, ensuring they are clear, testable, and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and present complex information clearly.
  • Experience working in or with public sector, social care, education, or children’s services environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with project or change management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2) and collaboration tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage competing priorities, and maintain a focus on improving outcomes for children and young people.
