About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Front-to-Back Cash Equities to join a high-performing global team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of Trading, Regulatory Compliance, Operations, and Technology, driving strategic initiatives and transformational change across a complex equities trading landscape.


Business Analyst / SME – Cash Equities

📍 Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)

📅 Job Type: Subcontract - Inside IR35


Key Skills & Experience

Must-Have

  • Deep knowledge of Cash Equities covering:
  • STP Trading
  • Order Management
  • Market Access
  • Regulatory Reporting
  • Middle & Back Office Integration Feeds
  • Strong understanding of European Cash Equities market structure, trading venues, routing patterns, and liquidity models.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations including MiFID II, MAR, and Short Selling.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills across Trading, Compliance, Operations, and Technology.
  • Experience delivering change within a global, multi-POD environment.
  • Good understanding of the SDLC and front-office trading platform architecture.
  • Technical awareness of Java and strong SQL skills for analysis and troubleshooting.
