Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Elicit, validate, and document business, functional, and technical specifications.
  • Process Modelling: Map existing and future business workflows, systems, and data structures.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze commercial data, metrics, and trends using tools like SQL, Excel, and data visualization software.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams, management, and external partners to explain technical concepts in plain language.
  • Solution Validation: Plan and oversee testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance of new processes or systems.
  • Change Management: Assess the risks, costs, and benefits of proposed changes and support teams during transition

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Core Technical Skills

  • Data Analysis: Ability to work with tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI to review data.
  • Process Mapping: Knowledge of frameworks like BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation) and UML.
  • Requirements Writing: Skill in turning business needs into clear technical documents or user stories.

Soft Skills

  • Communication: Ability to explain complex technical data to non-technical managers and executives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skill in building relationships and resolving conflicting priorities.
  • Critical Thinking: Talent for finding root problems and proposing smart business solutions.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personal Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NVS) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
