About The Job

Salary: £30,024 - £32,597 a year

Hours per week: 37

Contract type: Permanent

We are looking for an organised and proactive Business and Information Officer to provide high-quality business and administrative support across the service. You will be organised, methodical, and able to prioritise competing demands while maintaining attention to detail. An understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) services and some knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice would be beneficial. Most importantly, you will be a proactive team player who can use their initiative and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

The people of Luton depend heavily on this council – and that means our workforce! Are you ready to realise the remarkable and help us deliver our vision?

Additional Information

Only LBC Redeployees may apply for this position.

In all cases, you are entitled to apply for jobs that are on the same grade or one grade lower than your current/substantive post and for reasons 1,2 & 3 you must meet all of the critical criteria.

If your fixed term contract is ending you must meet all of the essential criteria on the job specification and you will be given lower priority than employees at risk of redundancy or those seeking redeployment through disability.

Employees with a disability, where it has been acknowledged that redeployment would constitute a reasonable adjustment, or those on maternity, will have prior consideration in the redeployment process.
