Carel UK is looking for a Business Development Manager focused on opening new accounts and creating opportunities in HVAC, refrigeration, and controls. This is a front-end commercial role: you will enter new markets, build relationships from scratch, and position the company as a technical partner.

Position
Carel UK is looking for a Business Development Manager focused on opening new accounts and creating opportunities in HVAC, refrigeration, and controls. This is a front-end commercial role: you will enter new markets, build relationships from scratch, and position the company as a technical partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new accounts across strategic verticals
- Build relationships with OEMs, consultants, contractors, and end users
- Map the buying ecosystem and identify entry points
- Generate and qualify new opportunities and structured project pipelines
- Influence technical specifications through early engagement and presentations
- Position the company as a credible technical partner
- 3–5 years of experience in business development or technical sales
- Background in HVAC, refrigeration, or controls systems
- Ability to create opportunities, not just manage existing ones
- Experience in multi-stakeholder, specification-led environments
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
