Proof Drinks is a leading independent UK importer, distributor, and brand-builder for premium spirits, beers, and no-or-low alcohol beverages. Since 2010, we’ve been developing category challenging and leading drinks brands in the UK market, using our expert knowledge of the on-trade, elevating them to be as exciting and appealing as possible. We do this through our skilled UK wide sales team, brilliant in-house marketing team and nationwide distribution network.


We are recruiting for a BDM position to lead the award winning Proof Drinks portfolio within the North West region including the key cities of Manchester, Liverpool and Chester. This role would suit an individual looking to progress within the on-trade spirits industry, stepping up to manage a more fulfilling portfolio of brands. *No recruiters please*.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with a range of businesses within the On-Trade sector with focus on Independent restaurants, bars and pubs. Driving distribution and supporting these venues.
  • Working with Wholesalers and their sales teams to educate and promote.
  • Showcasing our range of brands to key stakeholders/influencers.
  • Flexible in your time and sales approach; running events in the evenings and on weekends will be required.
  • Based from home you will travel throughout the North West region which includes the key cities of Manchester, Liverpool and Chester. 


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A proven track record in proactive B2B sales within the On-Trade, having sold to a wide range of decision makers.
  • A passion and love for food and drink. Have an awareness/interest in new market trends and consumer insight.
  • Managed your own diary, making appointments, generating leads, journey planning etc.
  • Have a solid background and effective use of a CRM system.
  • Operate with integrity and professionalism. Tenacious and creative with your new business approach.
  • Demonstrates an ability to plan, organise and execute activities using own initiative.
