Business Operations & Project Coordinator

United Kingdom Contract Posted 1 hour ago

Operations, Projects, Finance & Business

Looking for your first proper step into the world of work or you are returning to work after a career break

Want a role where you can learn, get involved and understand how a growing business actually operates?

Swift Strategies is looking for a highly organised, curious and proactive Business Operations & Project Coordinator to join our team.

This is a broad role, ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their career who enjoys variety, solving problems and getting stuck into whatever needs doing.

You don't need to be a finance expert. You do need to be organised, numerate, switched-on and keen to learn.

What you'll be doing

You'll work closely with our Operations Director and wider team across a mix of business operations, projects, finance and administration.

You'll get involved in:

Projects & Operations

  • Supporting new tools and processes across the business
  • Coordinating project actions, timelines and deliverables
  • Tracking progress and flagging risks or delays
  • Supporting internal projects and business initiatives
  • Working with different teams and external partners
  • Helping solve operational issues
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes

Finance

  • Raising invoices and monitoring payments
  • Checking supplier invoices
  • Supporting payment runs and month-end activities
  • Assisting with reconciliations and financial administration
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Supporting management information and reporting

General Business Support

  • Preparing meeting agendas and notes
  • Tracking actions and maintaining project documentation
  • Supporting the smooth running of the Business Operations team
  • Providing administrative support where needed

What we're looking for

You might be a recent graduate, have completed an internship, or simply be looking to reenter the world of work after a career break.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised and good at managing competing priorities
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Is comfortable working with numbers and data
  • Is a confident communicator
  • Is curious and enjoys figuring things out
  • Can work independently but enjoys being part of a team
  • Is proactive and doesn't wait to be asked to help
  • Is adaptable and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
  • Has good Microsoft Office skills
  • Wants to learn and develop

You don't need to have all the answers. We're looking for potential.

A degree is desirable, but we're open to candidates with relevant experience, internships, placements or other evidence of the skills we're looking for.

Why Swift?

You'll get exposure to multiple areas of a growing technology consultancy, rather than being put into a narrow graduate role.

You'll work with experienced people, support real projects, learn how businesses operate and build skills across operations, finance, project coordination and reporting.

It's a role where you can develop your career by figuring out what you're good at — and where you want to go next.

If you're bright, organised, curious and ready to get stuck in, we'd love to hear from you.
