Cash Equity Business Analyst

Synechron is looking for an experienced Cash Equities Technology SME to join a global team delivering complex, high-impact solutions across the trading lifecycle.


Working across EMEA, APAC and the Americas, you will partner with Trading, Compliance, Product Control, Operations and Technology to help shape and support a strategic global cash equities platform. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge business and technology, lead complex analysis, and drive delivery in a fast-paced front-office environment.


Role

  • Lead front-to-back analysis of cash equities trading workflows and systems, including order capture, routing, execution, allocations, confirmations and post-trade feeds
  • Support the build and migration to a strategic platform
  • Translate market structure and regulatory requirements into clear functional and non-functional requirements
  • Partner with Product Owners and development teams to define deliverable features and coherent solutions across regions
  • Ensure solutions meet resilience, operational readiness and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate effectively across global teams and multiple product areas


Experience:

  • Strong front-to-back Cash Equities knowledge, including STP trading, order management, market access, regulatory reporting, and middle/back-office integration
  • Strong understanding of European market structure and relevant regulations such as MiFID II, MAR and Short Selling
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience delivering change in a global, multi-team environment
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process/data flow mapping, acceptance criteria definition, and traceability through delivery and testing
  • Technical fluency to work closely with engineers, including Java awareness and SQL knowledge


Long term contract inside IR35 - ASAP start - Some travel to London
