Can you turn technology strategy into business value?
We’re looking for an IT Change & Delivery Lead to own the delivery of business-critical technology change across Shearwater.
As our organisation continues to evolve, technology plays a central role in enabling our people, improving our operations and supporting future growth. You will lead the Change and Delivery function, ensuring business demand is understood, prioritised and translated into effective delivery plans aligned to IT strategy.
Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will bring structure, transparency and momentum to our change portfolio. You will ensure investments deliver measurable outcomes, risks are managed effectively and teams across IT work together to deliver value.
Technically speaking…
You will own the end-to-end change delivery lifecycle, from demand capture and prioritisation through to delivery, adoption and benefits realisation.
You will establish effective governance across the IT change portfolio, ensuring initiatives are aligned to business priorities, appropriately resourced and delivered with clear accountability.
Working closely with Business Partners, Architecture, Operations, HPC, Security and Software Development teams, you will coordinate delivery across a complex global technology environment. You will provide oversight of delivery plans, budgets, dependencies, risks and issues, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of progress and outcomes.
You will champion modern delivery practices, continuous improvement and effective ways of working, helping Shearwater increase delivery maturity while maintaining the agility required in a technology-led organisation.

What You’ll Need
- Significant experience leading IT change delivery, transformation or technology portfolios.
- Experience operating across business and IT teams in a global organisation.
- Strong understanding of delivery governance, prioritisation and portfolio management.
- Experience managing budgets, risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business leaders and senior stakeholders.
- Experience improving delivery processes, ways of working and organisational maturity.
- Experience with Agile, hybrid delivery models or product-based ways of working.
- Experience delivering infrastructure, cloud, security or enterprise technology programmes.
- Familiarity with IT service management practices and ISO 27001 environments.
