Chief Operating Officer
Time commitment: 2–3 days per week
Reports to: Founder & CMO
Own day-to-day operations, resourcing, and execution cadence across Curenetics as the CURE-IO platform moves toward regulatory submission and commercial scale-up, giving the founding team the operational backbone to grow reliably.
Key Responsibilities• Design and run core operating processes: hiring and onboarding, vendor and supplier management, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination between clinical, technical, and regulatory teams.
• Support the founder/CMO on investor reporting, board packs, and use-of-funds tracking.
• Establish scalable systems (project tracking, financial controls, HR processes) appropriate for a post-Seed/Series A MedTech company.
• Manage day-to-day company operations and act as the operational point of contact for staff, contractors, and external partners.
• Identify and mitigate operational risk as headcount and regulatory workload grow.
Ideal Candidate• Prior COO, Head of Operations, or equivalent leadership experience in a regulated health tech, MedTech, or life sciences start-up.
• Comfortable building processes from scratch and operating with minimal existing structure.
• Experience supporting fundraising, board reporting, or grant compliance is a strong plus.
• Excellent organisational and cross-functional communication skills.
Remuneration• Equity in Curenetics, commensurate with role and stage of the company.
• Paid international business travel and trade missions where required to support company objectives.
