Title: Client Change Manager – AVIN Distribution

Location: London, UK

Duration: Temporary Contract (6 Months)


The Opportunity


This role sits within the Aviva Client Change team, part of the wider Aviva Investors Insurance & Investment Solutions function. The team delivers strategic change across Aviva Investors, supporting the UK & Ireland Insurance businesses in achieving their objectives and delivering value for clients.


You will operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment, working across multiple business areas and managing change initiatives that are often complex, high-impact, and client-facing.


This Role


As a Client Change Manager, you will lead the delivery of multiple concurrent projects or workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and successful outcomes across stakeholders, internal teams, and third-party partners.

You will play a key role in shaping, managing, and delivering end-to-end business change across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead day-to-day management of multiple projects or workstreams, including client-impacting and strategically important initiatives
  • Engage business sponsors, stakeholders, and third-party partners throughout project delivery
  • Maintain clear and transparent project status reporting, escalating issues with remediation options for governance forums
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks across the project lifecycle
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes to scope, timelines, cost, and benefits, providing options for decision-making
  • Ensure successful business adoption of change and support benefits realisation post-implementation
  • Produce accurate, timely documentation for governance forums, including working groups and steering committees
  • Maintain high-quality project artefacts, including operating models, procedures, and delivery documentation


Essential Requirements


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of asset management and operational processes
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end change in complex organisations
  • Strong background in project management and business change delivery
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience delivering change in investment or asset management environments (front, middle, or back office)
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including senior leadership engagement
  • Experience working across multiple regions with awareness of cultural differences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools


Highly Desirable


  • Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMI or equivalent)
