Client Payments Assistant

We are looking for an organised, proactive Client Payments Assistant to join our busy London team. This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable commercial insight into the entertainment and talent management industries by working directly with Client Managers, agents, and senior finance leaders.

Key Responsibilities

·        Invoicing: Review sales orders and remittances to issue accurate client and VAT invoices.

·        Payments: Support fortnightly client payment runs and draft statements for manager approval.

·        Banking: Prepare daily BACS data, input sales receipts, and monitor unallocated payments.

·        Multi-Currency: Reconcile bank accounts across GBP, USD, and EUR.

·        Collaboration: Partner with Talent Managers to resolve client payment queries and timelines.

·        Credit Control: Monitor outstanding debts and chase debtors as required.

·        Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the wider finance team with admin tasks and business analysis.

About You

·        Experience: Prior background in accounts payable, payroll, or client payment processing.

·        Technical Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

·        Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with an organised, deadline-driven approach.

·        Mindset: A proactive self-starter who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

·        Passions: A keen interest in media and entertainment (no prior industry experience required).
