Description
We are seeking a Client Services Payment Sales Associate to join JP Morgan's EMEA Subsidiary Payments Sales team in London on an initial 12 months contract. You should have excellent client facing skills, strong communication skills and preferably payments experience within another Investment banking organisation.
The EMEA Subsidiary Payments Sales team is responsible for covering Regional Treasury Centres and subsidiaries based in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) of J.P. Morgan's multinational client relationships. Closely aligned with the Global Corporate Bank and various other Banking Product verticals, in delivering innovative payments solutions to J.P. Morgan's clients. This includes marketing the firm's in-country capabilities as well as growing cross-border revenue.
As a Client Services Payment Sales Associate based in London, you will support coverage of the UK region, working with senior Payments Sales Managers and Bankers across APAC to develop and execute new business opportunities with the firm's global clients. This role entails developing new business from existing client relationships as well as prospective clients.
Job responsibilities
- Support Payment Sales Managers with client portfolios.
- Understand clients' treasury and cash management structures, including account setups, cash flow, and product usage.
- Support Request for Information (RFP) / Request for Proposal (RFI) responses and collaborate with internal teams on ad-hoc analyses like cost/benefit reviews and pricing models.
- Build expertise in JPMorgan Payments products, pricing philosophy, and billing process/procedures
- Assist with call preparation/follow-up, pre-meeting customer research & client pitch books and lead the preparation of account plans, business strategy reviews, briefing memos and relationship reviews
- Coordinate with product teams to deliver top-tier solutions for global clients and draft presentations/memos for committee meetings or deal approvals.
- Understand and stay up-to-date on industry topics and market themes, including developing an understanding of the competition's products and positioning with the client
- Contribute to sales growth by identifying opportunities for product extensions and supporting non-complex sales efforts alongside Payments Sales Managers and Bankers.
- Act as a key contact within the client relationship team, helping clients navigate JPMorgan's services.
- Analyse data to spot trends or risks, summarise findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Oversee new client onboarding, KYC processes, and business implementation to ensure smooth transitions and excellent service delivery.

- Work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and prioritising tasks independently.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other PC/internet-based systems for portfolio management.
- Standard working hours are 9am-6pm, with some flexibility as needed.
