Clinical Lead - Psychosis Pathway

The Clinical Lead for the Psychosis Pathway is a senior clinician responsible for providing day-to-day clinical leadership across adult community mental health psychosis services. The postholder will ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care to service users and their families, while supporting staff development and driving continuous service improvement.
The role involves leading clinical decision-making, overseeing the delivery of evidence-based interventions, and maintaining strong multidisciplinary and partnership working to improve outcomes for people experiencing psychosis.
We have over 125 sites in a variety of locations in the South of England. In London we operate within the Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley Greenwich and into Kent. We manage hospital sites including Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup and Memorial Hospital, Woolwich, as well as the Bracton Centre, our medium secure unit for people with mental health needs. We are the largest NHS provider of prison health services providing healthcare to prisons within Devon, Dorset, Bristol, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, Kent and South London. - Provide clinical leadership and direction across the psychosis pathway
- Support and develop staff through clinical supervision, guidance, and training
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based (NICE concordant) interventions
- Lead on clinical decision-making, including complex case discussions and care planning
- Oversee risk assessments, safety planning, and safeguarding practices
- Coordinate care to ensure timely, safe, and effective service delivery
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, and partner organisations
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
- Maintain high standards of clinical record-keeping and compliance with policies
