Clinical Pharmacist (Band 8A) Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT), rated Outstanding by the CQC, is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to lead and deliver advanced medicines management services at HMP Morton Hall, Swinderby STHF and HMP North Sea Camp.

Responsibilities
Lead and evaluate comprehensive medicines management services.
Provide expert clinical pharmacy input across primary care, substance misuse, and mental health.
Ensure compliance with medicines legislation and governance.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and contribute to service development across the East Midlands prison cluster.
Essential Qualifications
Educated to degree level with MPharm or equivalent, ideally with a postgraduate development pathway and GPhC registration.
Extensive experience in medicines management within secure environments, with a strong track record of implementing clinical pharmacy best practices to enhance patient safety and therapeutic outcomes in secure settings.
Knowledge of medicines management governance requirements within Health in Justice or secured environments.
Evidence of required years of UK residency for prison vetting standards.
Desirable Qualifications
Non‑Medical Prescribing Qualification.
Experience in secure environments or mental health settings.
Professional Development We will fund your Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification and provide protected time to attend university training days and assessments.
