Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (SC Cleared)

6 Month Contract | Derby | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite) | Competitive Day Rate

We're looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with active SC Clearance to support a major engineering and manufacturing programme. This role focuses on designing, building and optimising secure, scalable Azure cloud environments while supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years' experience working across Azure Cloud (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)

• Strong Azure infrastructure design, deployment and migration expertise

• Advanced ARM Templates and PowerShell scripting

• Experience with Azure services including App Services, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Azure AD and Monitoring

• Strong networking knowledge including VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers, Peering and VM Scale Sets

• Hands-on experience with AKS, Docker and Kubernetes

• WAF implementation, HA/DR design and cloud security controls

• Strong troubleshooting across Azure infrastructure, connectivity and firewall issues

• Linux administration experience across RHEL and Ubuntu
