About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Cloud Infrastructure Technician to support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud and on-premise infrastructure systems. This entry-level role is designed for recent graduates or individuals starting their career in cloud and infrastructure operations. No prior professional experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Monitor servers, networks, and cloud resources to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Support incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution of infrastructure issues.
  • Assist in system backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Help implement security best practices across cloud and infrastructure systems.
  • Maintain technical documentation, system logs, and operational records.
  • Support automation tasks using scripts and infrastructure tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams on infrastructure projects and deployments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux and/or Windows Server.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn infrastructure and cloud technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or Google Cloud Digital Leader.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Exposure to containerization tools like Docker.
  • Understanding of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, etc.).
  • Academic projects, internships, or lab experience in IT infrastructure.
