About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Operations Technician to join our technology team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates and aspiring IT professionals interested in cloud computing, infrastructure management, system monitoring, and technical operations.

The Cloud Operations Technician will assist in monitoring cloud environments, supporting day-to-day operational activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and helping maintain secure and reliable cloud-based systems. No prior professional experience is required. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure system availability and performance.
  • Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
  • Support cloud deployment, configuration, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor alerts, logs, and system performance metrics.
  • Assist with user account management and access control processes.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures.
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, support, and security teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Help maintain cloud security and compliance standards.
  • Participate in routine system health checks and maintenance tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in:

  • Or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts.

  • Willingness to work in a technical operations environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Exposure to cloud, infrastructure, or IT support projects through coursework, labs, internships, or self-learning.
  • Understanding of monitoring and incident management concepts.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies is a plus.
