Pay at MoralCare increases with your length of service, so the longer you stay, the more you earn. Unqualified carers start at £13.20 per hour in year 0-1, rising to £13.40 (1-2 years), £13.60 (2-5 years), £13.80 (5-10 years) and £14.75 (10+ years). Weekend pay starts at £13.50 per hour, and from 2+ years it matches the qualified rate for your length of service. Bank holidays are paid at £19.00 per hour, and Christmas Day is paid at £21.50 per hour. Mileage is reimbursed at 25p per mile for petrol and diesel vehicles, calculated automatically through the company app.

In the role, you’ll support people to stay safe and independent at home. This includes personal care such as washing, dressing and continence support, preparing meals and encouraging fluids, medication, companionship and reassurance, and the practical tasks that help someone stay safe in their own home. You’ll work as part of a team that communicates well and takes pride in doing things properly.

A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role, as you’ll be travelling between service users’ homes. If you’re caring, reliable, and you treat people with dignity and respect, we’d love to hear from you. Experience in care is great, but it’s not essential if you’ve got the right attitude and you’re willing to learn.
