Our Company Secretariat Team provides expert governance and company secretarial support across Aldermore Group and its subsidiaries, helping ensure strong corporate governance and regulatory compliance while enabling the business to deliver on its strategic ambitions.
As Company Secretarial Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Board, Executive Committee and senior stakeholders, acting as Secretary to key Board Committees and providing expert governance advice across the business. You'll help deliver the Group's statutory and regulatory obligations, lead governance operations processes, oversee the production of the Annual Report, and support the ongoing development of our governance framework.

What will your day look like?
- Support the Company Secretary and senior leadership team in delivering the Group's statutory, regulatory and governance obligations.
- Act as Secretary to key board and Executive Committees, ensuring effective governance and meeting administration.
- Provide expert governance advice to senior stakeholders across the business.
- Build strong relationships with Board members, executives and subject matter experts to deliver a first-class stakeholder experience.
- Lead and support key governance projects, including the Annual Report, regulatory assessments and governance operations.
- Monitor regulatory and corporate governance developments, ensuring the business remains compliant and informed.
- Champion best practice corporate governance and act as a trusted advisor on governance matters.
- Support, mentor and develop junior team members while driving continuous improvement across the Company Secretariat function.
- Significant Company Secretariat experience within a regulated financial services environment.
- Experience supporting Boards and Board Committees, including producing high-quality minutes and governance documentation.
- Strong understanding of UK company law, corporate governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels.
- A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A growth mindset, embracing continuous improvement, innovation and the use of technology to enhance governance practices.
- Strong judgement, discretion and communication skills, with the confidence to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Diligent and listed company governance requirements would be advantageous.
