Title: Consultant ~ Financial Control and Advisory ~ Industrials
The Role:
One of our Consultancy House clients has a client in the housebuilding / industrial sector is seeking a Consultant to join the team for a short-term engagement
You will advise on best practice for monthly financial reporting and controls for a small industrial business. The consultant will work closely with senior management and finance stakeholders, with the objective of strengthening financial governance, processes, and reporting discipline.
Responsibilities
- Review existing monthly financial reporting and control processes.
- Advise on best-practice financial controls suitable for a small industrial / housebuilding business.
- Support the design and implementation of improved management reporting.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on finance and control topics.
Requirements:
- Consulting house experience at Consultant level
- Strong finance and accounting background, including financial control.
- Prior experience in housebuilding or closely related industrial environments.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver practical, hands-on recommendations.
Details:
- Start date: TBC
- Duration: 4–6 weeks
- Day rate: £400 - £600 LTD
- Location: London ~ Hybrid working.
