Social Content Creator
Salary: £40,000 - 49,000
Manchester - 2 days in office
Our client is looking for a creative social specialist to join an established internal creative function and help shape how the organisation connects with its audience online. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who understands what makes content work on social, is comfortable taking ideas from concept to completion, and enjoys creating work that feels authentic rather than overly corporate. You’ll have the freedom to bring your own personality and creative judgement to the role, supported by a wider team of experienced creative professionals.
The Social Content Creator will create engaging, social-first content that brings the organisation’s brand and wider offering to life in a way that feels relevant, relatable and native to each platform.
Role Highlights
- Concept, shoot and edit engaging short-form social content.
- Create strong hooks, scripts, captions and on-screen messaging.
- Develop content designed specifically around social audience behaviour.
- Work with on-camera contributors and occasionally appear on camera yourself.
- Identify relevant trends, cultural moments and opportunities for timely content.
You Will Need
- A strong portfolio of short-form social video and creative content. (please send this to me or include it on your CV)
- Proven ability to film and edit confidently, particularly using mobile-first workflows.
- Strong knowledge of social platforms, formats and audience behaviours.
- Creative copywriting and scripting skills with a natural social voice.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and delivery skills in a high-output environment.
