Content Operations Manager
ABOUT GENFLOW
Genflow is a creator-led growth business that builds and scales consumer brands in partnership with the world's most influential talent. We combine content, commerce, and performance marketing to build culturally relevant brands with genuine global reach.
We move fast, we operate at the intersection of culture and commerce, and everything we build is designed to convert.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Content Operations Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of content across the Genflow portfolio. This is a hands-on operational role sitting at the centre of our content engine, responsible for making sure the right things get done, by the right people, on time and to the right standard.
You will oversee content production for Creator College, Creator College Unplugged (podcast), the personal content of Genflow CEO Shan Hanif and Jun Yuh (Co-Founder, Creator College). This spans short-form video, long-form video, and written content, across platforms including TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads and Facebook.
You will manage the execution across a team of social media managers, editors, content strategists, and motion graphics designers. You are the person who spots bottlenecks before they become problems, unblocks the team, and holds everyone accountable to delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Delivery & Scheduling
- Own the daily content delivery pipeline.
- Ensure all content; short form, long form, written; is briefed, produced, reviewed, approved, scheduled and published on time.
- Maintain and enforce production calendars for all platforms.
- Coordinate trailer production for every podcast episode.
Team Management & Operations
- Run daily standups.
- Keep CRM up to date as the single source of truth for all production tasks.
- Assign and prioritise tasks across the team each day based on what matters most.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement solutions quickly.
Briefing & Quality Control
- Ensure every piece of content is properly briefed before it goes into production
- Review outputs against brand and quality standards before publication
- Enforce visual identity and brand consistency across each channel
- Maintain and communicate creative guidelines (fonts, colour palettes, animation style, subtitle formatting) across the editing team
Reporting & Communication
- Produce regular reports on content output, publishing frequency, and delivery performance for senior leadership.
- Flag risks and blockers early with clear solutions, not just problems.
- Act as the communication bridge between leadership and the content production team.
Tools & Systems
- Own and manage the CRM (Asana) project management board for all content production.
- Work with the team to implement standardised workflows, SOPs, and briefing templates.
- Ensure all freelancers and contractors are onboarded to and operating within the centralised system.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
You have operated inside a fast-paced content or media environment and know what it takes to keep multiple production tracks moving simultaneously. You are process-oriented, you build systems that help people do better work faster, not systems that slow people down.
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Have 3+ years of experience in a content production, media operations, or project management role within a digital media, creator economy, or social-first environment.
- Have managed social media managers, editors, designers, or freelance creative teams day-to-day.
- Are highly proficient in a project management tool (Asana, or similar).
- Understand social-first content formats across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook, you know what good looks like.
- Have experience managing podcast production pipelines or video production workflows.
- Spot problems early and fix them without needing to be chased.
- Are comfortable running daily standups and keeping a team accountable.
