The Role:
Country Manager / Head of Country Sales sought to lead the UK & I Sales organisation of an international company specialised in developing advanced motion control components and systems for applications such as automation, optics, semiconductor manufacturing, and life sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
The Country Manager / Head of Country Sales will have a hands on role in delivering growth, alongside leading the 6-8 person UK sales team to achieve ambitious targets
Responsibilities include:
- Drive the execution of the sales and growth strategy within the UK market, increasing market penetration and sales intensity / effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients, showcasing technical offerings and high-quality solutions that meet market demands.
- Lead and develop the team focused on achieving consistent organic growth to increase market share and revenues
- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with broader group expectations, ensuring a continuous focus on innovation and effective sales management.
- Foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture, encouraging accountability and personal development among team members.
The Ideal Candidate Profile:
You should have a proven track record in a sales or commercial leadership within technical manufacturing, deep-tech or precision engineering.
- Strong background in business development, sales strategy execution, and team leadership, with experience managing a subsidiary of an international organization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
- Mastery of complex sales processes with an adaptable approach to evolving market needs, especially in emerging segments.
- A degree or similar from a Technical, Scientific or Business school, alongside fluent business English language skills.
