The Opportunity

A fast-growing global EdTech business is looking for an experienced creative copy leader to join its in-house creative studio. This is a highly hands-on role that blends conceptual thinking, campaign development, copy craft, and team leadership.

Working closely with senior creative leadership, you’ll help shape brand storytelling across multiple channels while mentoring a small team of writers. You’ll lead the development of integrated campaigns, create standout copy across digital and offline formats, and play a key role in evolving the company’s tone of voice.

This role would suit an established Assistant Creative Director (Copy) or a highly conceptual Senior Copywriter ready to step into a leadership position.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop bold, insight-led creative concepts across campaigns, brand activity, and content projects
  • Write and oversee copy across paid social, digital, ATL, email, video scripts, social content, and integrated campaigns
  • Take ideas from initial concepts through to polished, production-ready execution
  • Lead, mentor, and support a small team of copywriters
  • Help define and evolve the brand’s tone of voice across all touchpoints
  • Partner closely with design and art direction teams to deliver fully integrated creative work
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing and the wider business
  • Contribute to a positive, high-performing studio culture

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience in a senior copywriting or creative leadership role within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong conceptual thinking and exceptional writing craft
  • Proven experience delivering campaigns across multiple channels, especially digital and paid social
  • Ability to adapt tone and messaging depending on audience and platform
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior creatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • Portfolio demonstrating versatility, creativity, and standout execution
  • Experience writing humorous or culturally relevant copy is a plus
