Creative Performance Lead
Job Title: Creative Strategy Lead @ Fast-Growing D2C Consumer Health Brand
Location: London (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £80,000 DOE
A high-growth D2C consumer health brand is looking for a Creative Strategy Lead to own the creative engine behind their paid channels and drive measurable performance at scale.
In four years, this brand has grown to £15m revenue with £6.8m in funding behind them, a Series A and international expansion are on the horizon. They're building in a category that's long been ignored, with first-to-market products and serious momentum. Now they need the right creative leader to take performance to the next level.
This is a genuine lead-level role, not a glorified mid-weight. You'll own paid creative strategy end-to-end across Meta, TikTok and YouTube, run a disciplined testing roadmap, manage two direct reports, and present creative performance directly to the C-suite. You'll be joining a low-ego team that's already embedded AI into their creative workflow and wants someone to push it further.
Key Responsibilities
- Own creative strategy across paid social, with Meta as the priority channel and a clear POV on TikTok and YouTube
- Translate customer insight, category data and performance metrics into testable creative hypotheses and winning concepts
- Run a structured testing roadmap with tight feedback loops back into briefs
- Manage end-to-end creative pipeline: resource, briefing, production, reporting and iteration
- Manage and develop two direct reports (Junior Creative Strategist and Designer)
- Oversee the external creative agency relationship and hold them accountable to business goals
- Partner closely with the performance lead and brand team to ensure creative and media strategy move as one
- Present creative performance, learnings and strategy clearly to founders and C-suite
- Continue building out AI-led ways of working across research, ideation and production
Skills & Experience Required
- 6+ years in creative strategy with significant time leading paid social creative for a D2C or consumer brand
- Deep knowledge of Meta (formats, platform behaviour, what scales vs what fatigues) plus working knowledge of TikTok and YouTube
- Proven ability to build and run structured creative testing frameworks with documented learning loops
- Track record of creative work that moved real numbers, CAC, ROAS, new customer volume
- Experience managing and developing small creative teams
- Comfortable presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders including founders and exec teams
- Hands-on with AI tools for creative research, ideation or production
