Creator in Residence

London Area, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 3 days ago

We’re running a 10-week experiment to build a social product. Want in?

The premise

We’re launching a 10-week Tiny Experiment at Attachment.

This is not a traditional internship. It’s a focused sprint to build something real.

Attachment operates at the intersection of brands, talent and culture. We generate a constant flow of insight, ideas and cultural observations but most of it never gets packaged in a way that travels.

This experiment is about changing that.

We’re looking for someone to help turn our thinking into a recognisable, social-first product, which considers our global positioning with team in London, NYC and Dubai, delivering global work. Something people follow, share and come back to.

What you’ll do
  • Turn our weekly thinking (including our newsletter) into video-first and carousel-led social content (considering LinkedIn just as much as Instagram)
  • Create repeatable formats, series and structures that feel ownable to Attachment
  • Develop hooks, thumbnails and openings that earn attention instantly
  • Build content that feels native to platforms, not repurposed for them
  • Translate cultural insights into simple, sharp, shareable ideas
  • Identify where Attachment should show up in culture and act on it quickly
  • Test different approaches to scale what works

This is as much about format creation as it is about content creation.

The experiment

We want to answer a simple question:

What happens when a cultural marketing agency behaves like a social-first publisher?

Over 10 weeks, you’ll help us:

  • Build formats that can travel consistently
  • Find a tone that balances cultural fluency with credibility
  • Turn insight into something people actually engage with

What we’re looking for

Someone who understands how attention works now.

You should have:

  • Strong instinct for short-form storytelling
  • Experience creating video content end-to-end
  • A clear understanding of hooks, pacing and retention
  • A sharp eye for thumbnails and visual hierarchy
  • Confidence across Instagram and LinkedIn
  • The ability to observe and quickly adapt to a brand tone of voice
  • A proactive mindset. You spot opportunities, not wait for them
  • An ideas person
  • The energy to create consistent, high-volume output
  • Proficiency across CapCut Pro, Canva, or other creative tools & platform editing suites
  • A love of pop/internet culture and opinions/insights within your personal passion areas

And importantly:

  • You understand how to make content feel socially native, not corporate
  • You can take something complex and make it feel simple and shareable
What you’ll get
  • The chance to help build a visible social product from scratch
  • A body of work that actually exists in the world, not just in a portfolio
  • Exposure to how cultural marketing works in practice
  • Close access to strategy, talent thinking and campaign work
  • Mentorship and skill development
  • £6,300 for 10 weeks + travel up to £20 per day
Success looks like
  • Distinct formats or series that feel recognisable to Attachment
  • Content that is saved, shared and sparks conversation
  • Clear progression in what performs over the 10 weeks
  • Work that feels native to the platform and culturally aware

How to apply

We’re not looking for polished CVs.

Send us:

  • 2–3 examples of content you’ve made (video or social)
  • Or if you do not have the above, it can be something you wish to create specifically for this

Process:

  • Applicants we feel are right for this will be invited to a second round
  • The second round will involve a short creative task so we can understand how you think and make

Important:

  • This is a paid opportunity
  • The role runs for 10 weeks as part of a defined experiment (internship), not a permanent position
  • In London office 2-4 days a week
