CRIS Communications and Extraction Service Co-ordinator
London, England, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 1 day ago
South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) and the Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) established the CRIS system and services in 2008. CRIS is a technical and governance solution enabling access to deidentified clinical data for research. A key component of the CRIS Security Model is the Communications Programme, ensuring stakeholders, including service users, can access information about CRIS. The programme is managed through the CRIS Extraction Service, supporting users to specify and extract data for research in line with CRIS governance requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity (fixed-term post, initially ending in March 2028) for an enthusiastic and analytical individual. Applicants should have research experience, including peer-reviewed publications; familiarity with clinical research datasets and information technology; service management experience; and organisational skills.
The Service Co-ordinator will lead the CRIS Communications Programme, including evaluation and development to improve transparency and access to CRIS information.
The Service Co-ordinator will also support the wider CRIS Extraction Service, including liaison with CRIS users on research feasibility; database querying; service administration; testing and evaluation of CRIS data and services; dissemination of findings; and publications.
The Service Co-ordinator will work with colleagues across the CRIS team and SLaM Clinical Informatics Services.
We are committed to provide a high quality and specialist care to our service users and we are recognised for our care and treatment we provide. The Care Quality Commission already rates our services as ‘good’.
The trust recognises the unique and valuable contribution that people with lived experience of mental illness can bring to a role. We therefore welcome applications from people with lived experience and consider them as an asset to the Trust.
Our Values
We take pride in providing specialist care to our service users where our Trust values and our promise to be caring, kind, polite, prompt, honest, listen and do what I say I’m going to do is at the heart of everything we do. When you join us, you’ll be part of something special.
As a Trust we are happy to talk flexible working.
