Position 1:
Role: Data Architect (with Databricks)
Location: Horsham UK
Mode: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / week

Required Skills
- Strong Databricks architecture and design experience.
- Data Lakehouse and large-scale data platform experience.

- Data quality, reconciliation and controls.
- Cloud data platform experience (Azure preferred).
- Experience working in agile delivery programmes.

Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design: Designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Data Lake Storage
- Data Modelling & Management: Developing and implementing conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support analytical and operational needs.
- Azure Infrastructure Planning: Designing data integration flows using ETL/ELT technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory) and optimizing data storage.
- Governance & Security: Embedding data protection by design, including security, compliance, privacy, and data cataloguing using tools like Microsoft Purview.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translating business requirements into technical blueprints and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Monitoring and optimizing Azure environment costs and performance.
- Azure Data Factory and Databricks Expertise: Skilled in building, managing, and optimizing pipelines, workflows, and clusters.
