Data Science Technician
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Science Technician to join our growing data team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who want to build a strong foundation in data science, analytics, and machine learning support functions.
The Data Science Technician will assist in preparing datasets, supporting model development workflows, performing data quality checks, and helping data scientists transform raw data into actionable insights. No prior professional experience is required. Full training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets.
- Support data scientists in building and testing analytical models.
- Perform data validation, quality assurance, and consistency checks.
- Assist in exploratory data analysis (EDA) and reporting.
- Prepare datasets for machine learning and statistical analysis.
- Document data workflows, processes, and findings.
- Support visualization of data insights using BI tools.
- Help maintain data pipelines and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business teams.
- Assist in research and experimentation for data-driven solutions.
Required Qualifications
