Deployment Strategist

London, England, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 6 days ago
TL;DR: This is not a regular implementation role. You'll walk into some of the world's most complex enterprise systems and deploy Conduct against the challenges our customers face. You build the kind of trust that turns an initial pilot into a long-term partnership - and the product insights you bring back will directly shape what we build next.

WHY CONDUCT

We believe the world's largest companies should move at the speed of their ideas, not the speed of the decade-old systems they run on. Today they don't.

Every process change, every new product line runs into SAP systems layered with decades of custom code and complexity no human mind can fully comprehend. New requirements take months to ship, system migrations cost $100M+ and years of pain.

We're building the AI operating system that absorbs this complexity and gives enterprises back their speed and ambition. Conduct reads custom legacy code, understands it and operates the systems build from it.

Major enterprises already trust us with their most critical systems. We've closed game-changing SI partnerships, just raised a $60M Series A, and demand is outpacing what we can service.

We're a small, talent-dense team doing our life's work out of London and NYC. We're in-office and sponsor visas. We value extreme ownership, high velocity and low-ego collaboration. What you build here shapes the company, and how the world's largest companies operate. We're convinced diverse teams build better products and especially encourage underrepresented groups in tech to reach out.

What You'll Own

You will make sure Conduct lands and sticks. You join strategic accounts early, run the technical deployment hands-on, and fully take over post-sale. No two days look the same: you fly out to customers when it counts, you onboard hundreds of end users, surface expansion signals, and eventually turn a single entry point into a multi-year partnership. Most importantly, you will have a direct line into product and shape Conduct’s product roadmap as we further build out the platform.

In practice:

  • Embed deeply inside strategic customers end to end. Understand their AI transformation goals, locate the biggest pain points in their legacy systems, and own delivery outcomes as if you were part of their team
  • Bring a continuous stream of customer insight back into our product and engineering team and actively shape what we build next
  • Present results and future proposals to audiences ranging from technical teams to C-suite; drive renewals, integrations, and expansion alongside our Account Executives

This is a very entrepreneurial role, our GTM team is still small and lean. You'll build the engine behind everything: onboarding flows, tooling, reusable playbooks — enough that customer capacity compounds without headcount scaling linearly.

Who We Hire

We're looking for people who share our obsession with delivering for customers. There is no finished playbook, and you'll build as much as you run.

You'll fit right in if your former colleagues would, without hesitating, call you one of the sharpest people they've ever worked with, and if you're at your best inside complex technical environments. In practice that tends to look like:

  • 3+ years working with customers in a technical capacity. Direct enterprise experience preferred; deployment-heavy, forward-deployed, or technical account roles where you owned a real outcome inside a customer's systems.
  • Solid depth in enterprise tech, ERP, or comparably complex software. No SAP background required on day one, but we expect you to go deep, fast.
  • Real commercial instinct. You spot expansion, you can hold an early commercial conversation, and you understand that a great deployment is also how accounts grow.
  • A builder with genuine hunger. You want to build the process and do the hands-on customer work, not just one or the other.
  • Low ego and self-aware. You're comfortable saying "I don't know" in a technically complex environment, then going and figuring it out.
