The Opportunity
We’re looking for a hands-on Design Engineer to support a range of active engineering programmes. This is a delivery-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys CAD, detailed design, and getting stuck into real engineering challenges from day one.
You’ll be working across electrified powertrain systems, including battery systems, transmission components, and test rigs, helping to deliver high-quality design outputs at pace.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing 3D CAD models and 2D drawings to production intent
- Supporting packaging and mechanical design activities
- Delivering accurate design data (BOMs, drawings, documentation)
- Contributing to design reviews and engineering activities
- Supporting test rig design and development
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Experience in mechanical design & CAD (CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE essential)
- Strong drawing and detailing capability
- Practical understanding of manufacturing and assembly
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
⭐ Nice to Have
- Automotive / electrification / battery systems experience
- Test rig or fixture design exposure
⚙️ Working Setup
- 38.5-hour week
- Hybrid working (min. 3 days onsite in Warwick)
- Flexible hours:
Mon–Thu: 09:00–16:00 core
Fri: 08:00–12:00 core
- Free EV charging
- Hot drinks & weekly fruit provided
👉 Initial 3-month contract, with strong potential to extend or become permanent
