Digital Content Manager
As Fortnum & Mason continues to grow, our content plays an increasingly important role in helping us reach more people, more often, and in more meaningful ways. From our stores to our digital channels, content connects our craftsmanship, stories and products with customers wherever they are, and at every stage of their journey.
This role is responsible for driving efficiency and value from that content. This includes overseeing budgets, identifying economies of scale, and maximising content opportunities through thoughtful repurposing and reuse across locations and channels. In parallel, the role owns the governance, organisation and day‑to‑day management of Fortnum’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. To support this ambition, the role plans, coordinates and oversees all content requirements across the Fortnum’s stores and digital touchpoints through ownership of a clear, centralised master content schedule.
Acting as the operational control point for content delivery, the role uses an efficient traffic‑light system to track status, dependencies, risk and readiness, ensuring the right content is available, approved and deployed at the right time, in the right place.
Key Interfaces: This role works closely with Brand & Creative, Online Trading, Digital, Hospitality, Campaign, Editorial and Retail teams to coordinate content needs across locations and platforms.
The role also plays an active part in the planning and delivery of content creation within the Food & Drink Studio, working closely with Hatty Cary and Hannah Moyce to ensure production output is aligned to the wider content schedule, priorities and opportunities for reuse.
In addition, the role liaises with external agencies, photographers, production partners and freelancers where required, and works with Digital, IT and Finance teams to support DAM governance, production planning and budget oversight.
